Solar Power Inverter Functionality and Usage – Explained

When sun rays fall on the photovoltaic cell in Solar Panels, they are converted into direct current (DC). The DC then goes through solar Power Inverter and is converted into alternating current (AC). If the house is still on the grid, the electricity reaches the house with electricity from the commercial grid. If the house is not attached to any commercial power source, the DC power is stored into storage batteries until needed. When the DC leaves the battery, it passes through solar power inverter and is changed to AC and then flows to the house in usable form (AC).
There are two types of solar power inverters available in the market, the Modified Sine Wave (MSW) and True Sine Wave (TSW). The TSW solar power inverter is more popular as compared to MSW.
